Job Placement Assistance Service

We provide Placement assistance to all students who have successfully completed the course.

Truck Driving Program Requirements:

Provide a 3-year driving record from the DMV.

If the applicant has any DUI convictions or more than three moving violations, he/she must meet with the American Career Training Assistant Director so that a determination, on an individual basis, can be made concerning admittance into the training facility.

Submit a ten-year verifiable work history.

Disclose any felony or misdemeanor convictions.

Report any Worker's Compensation claims in the last three years, and any back or neck problems.

Possess a California License, a Class A Learner's permit, or an approved transfer of license application.

Be at least 18 years of age. The minimum age for interstate drivers is 21.

Pass a NIDA 5 (five) drug screen test. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation Regulation 382.103, 382.103student drivers are required to test even though they may not yet possess a CDL.

Have a High School Diploma/GED/ College diploma or transcripts.

Must complete a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) physical examination.

30-Hour Accelerated Certification Program

We offer a 30–Hour Entry-Level Truck Driving Training (ELDT) for obtaining or upgrading your CDL. Our course includes:

Personal Training Instructor

20 hours of practice training

10 hours classroom work
